Owner very friendly and helpfull, give us a map and a lot of personnal recommandations. Good breakfeast. Historic cachet, the facade of the hotel is a marble fountain of Moses. Very cosy.

It's a bit hard to find because it's an in a historic building they can't put big advertising signs.

Room size was very large, comfortable, clean, and good air conditioning even in horrible Rome summer heat.

Two issues - one general issue and one isolated but more serious issue. The isolated serious issue - there was a problem with the electronic key system while I was there, and there were three doors necessary to access one's room - the front large door at street level, then up two flights of steps, then another exterior door to the actual rooms, then for me another flight of stairs to my actual room. I go blocked out of the second door (I wa snot given a key to this door) and only got in by bagging on the door for 45 minutes until I woke up another hotel guest who happened to find the door key laying inside and opened it for me. There is no staff on the premises, so it makes situations like these, while rare, extremely difficult. The main door to the street was never appropriately locked despite the staff being told it was not working. So, when not locked out of my room there in fact was very little barrier form anyone walking down the street to my actual room - they simply had to walk in, enter the second always open door, and then just had my personal door to work through. The general concern that also relates to the first is that there is no staff on site full time, and no one at night in general, at least no one easily accessible. Therefore, if problems do arise they are extremely difficult to address. Other amenities form hotels where there is staff full time aren't possible here.

Moses Fountain is was a surprise from start to finish. The entrance was unique to say the least and once you enter its like a treasure trove! The room was lovely, well decorated and comfortable. The added bonus of the trukish steam bath and waterfall shower were amazing! Overall a really enjoyable stay in a good location!

The Moses Fountain was an exceptional hotel - we found the staff (when we saw them) friendly and helpful. The facilities were brilliant including a free mini bar which we did not expect and also on our last night a bottle of Red Wine and chocolates was left for us - what a treat!! We will definitely recommend to our friends and visit again!!!!

It wasn't made clear how to contact reception or how to get our breakfast - so we skipped it both days. This is not a complaint just a development point. We were so pleased with the hotel it really didn't matter.

The Hotel was located in a perfect position for walking to all attractions. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful in all aspects of our stay and even provided us with a list of Restaurants to eat in, which were fantastic. The hotel itself lived up to our expectations, it is on quite a busy street but we were so tired at the end of each day so the traffic noise was not a problem for us. I would recommend this hotel and will definately be returning in the future.

The staff were extremely helpful and informative, the hotel was superb and the location was perfect for exploring the city. All in all this was one of the best holidays I have ever had. Truly can not rate the Moses Fountain Hotel highly enough or their staff. This is a small hotel that truly gives you a sense you are personally being looked after.

Good location, was able to walk to all major sights, restaurants & close to the Metro station. Friendly, informative & helpful staff. Comfortable, clean & well designed room, quite noisy due to location - over a busy main road & although very authentic next to a fountain the first night it was left running & the room & bed literally vibrated leaving us suffering from lack of sleep for the first day.Continental breakfast served on a tray in the room on request, can be taken on the terrace if weather permits. It was well presented & fresh. Enjoyed the privacy of the accommodation, no reception, we could come & go as we pleased, like staying in a serviced apartment with the convenience of having a member of staff at the end of the phone to assist with any request. Overall a great trip.

Would have liked some comfortable fluffy duvets to snuggle into after a long day walking around Rome.

The heartly welcome, the attention to detail and very high service level.

The hotel is well located and has large and well appointed rooms. You do however have to climb 70 steps to get to the rooms so if that is aproblem then don't go. Staff are friendly and speak good English and the owner is on hand at all times to assist and advise. A great stay in agreat location.

There was nothing we didn't like. Whilst we were there it was our 44th wedding anniversary and Andrea the owner left us a card and a gift, that's the sort of specila treatment you get there.

Location, location, location!! Modern amenities in good taste. Incredibly helpful, attentive and informative staff.

the owner spent 30 mins guiding us what to see and do including booking restaurants for us, she made our 3 days magical.

It was alovely place to stay, sleeping into a mountain

As the hotel is in a monument, it is impossible to built an elevator, so heavy luggage might be a problem.
